A 19-year-old Truro Heights man is facing charges of aggravated assault in connection with a stabbing that took place in Truro Sunday morning.
Early Sunday morning Truro Police received a call about a person stabbed near Brunswick and Young Street, and when officers arrived they found a 20-year-old man from Hilden with stab wounds to his abdomen. He was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Truro Heights man is scheduled to appear in Truro Provincial Court on January 24.
The victim and suspect know each other and the incident is not considered to be a random act.
