Kelly Furlotte Fagan runs the business with her son and his roommate, as well as her mother at 535 Prince St., Truro.

The café's name comes from the fact that 50 per cent of the tip money will go to a local charity. The December recipient will be the Colchester Food Bank.

The space has been home to the Fair Trade Café, Co Co Community Café and Calabay Café.

Furlotte Fagan did some renovations to give her business a homey but spacious feel.

The Give Back Café is open Monday to Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
