Tools stolen from Truro Canadian Tire

LOWER TRURO, N.S. A man who left a retail store with $1,200 worth of tools is being sought by police.

Colchester District RCMP is seeking public assistance in helping to identify the man pictured above.

The RCMP said in a news release that the man left a store in Lower Truro with a 12V Dewalt cordless drill, a 20V Dewalt cordless drill, a 20V Dewalt impact drill and a 20V Dewalt high torque impact drill without paying for them.

Anyone who has information about the incident or can identify the suspect, is asked to call Colchester RCMP at 902-896-5000, or should you wish to remain anonymous, you can also contact Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or text TIP202 + your message to 'CRIMES' (274637) or submit tips by Secure Web Tips at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca. Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash award
