Tables being set up to help homeless animals

TRURO – A couple of local groups are setting up tables at the Truro Mall this month to raise money and awareness about homeless animals.

Jack, a 10-year-old cat, is waiting for a new home. He is one of the felines for adoption at the Colchester SPCA. The adoption fee for Jack, and other older cats, has been reduced to $65.

Wayward Cats is setting up a booth Nov. 19 and 21 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Nov. 22 from 4-8 p.m., Nov. 28 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and Nov 29 from 4-8 p.m.

The Colchester SPCA is setting up a table every Thursday, Friday and Saturday starting Nov. 24 and ending Dec. 15. Hours will be 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
