GOFFS, NS - A 55-year-old man from Lucasville is dead following an accident on Highway 102, near the airport, Monday evening.
The collision, which took place at 7:21 p.m., involved a Ford Explorer with a single occupant. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle had been travelling southbound, towards Halifax, between Exit 5A and 5.
An RCMP Accident reconstructionist is working to determine the cause and circumstances of the collision and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's Office is investigating in order to determine the cause and manner of death.
