TRURO - A number of meetings for Girl Guides of Canada are coming up in Colchester County.
Registration is open to all girls for the 2012-2013 Guiding year and more information on how to register online can be found at the upcoming meetings.
The following is a list of area meetings.
- Sept. 10 - First Lower Onslow/Debert Pathfinders, 6 to 8:30 p.m., Onslow Belmont fire hall
- Sept. 11 - First Truro Brownies, 6 to 7:30 p.m., St. Andrew's United Church
- Sept. 11 - Third Bible Hill Guides, 6 to 7:30 p.m., Bible Hill fire hall
- Sept. 11 - Second Bible Hill Pathfinders, 7 to 8:30 p.m., 21 Junco Court
- Sept. 12 - Second Truro Guides, 6 to 7:30 p.m., St. John's Anglican Church's Kaulback Hall
- Sept. 17 - Fifth Bible Hill Brownies, 6 to 7:30 p.m., St. David's Church basement
- Sept. 17 - First Bible Hill Sparks, 6 to 7 p.m., St. David's Church hall
- Sept. 17 - Second Valley Brownies, 6:30 to 8 p.m., Valley United Church
- Sept. 18 - First Debert Brownies, 6:15 to 7:45 p.m., Debert Baptist Church
- Sept. 18 - First Hilden Sparks, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., Hilden United Church hall
Parents should bring their children's completed health forms.
Guiders are also needed for North River Sparks and Brownies, Debert Sparks and Guides, Hilden Brownies and all levels of the Tatamagouche organization. More information on volunteering can be found at area meetings.
