Local business supports organizations with book sale

TRURO -  Intertape Polymer in Truro hosted its eighth annual book sale from March 31 to April 11 to raise funds for different organizations.

Tina Mabey, center, of Intertape Polymer, presented cheques worth $1,400 each to both Lori Logue of the Autism Nova Scotia, Truro chapter, and Robert MacDonald of the Lung Association of Nova Scotia. The employees donated books and puzzles for the sale, with two boxes of books going to the gift shop at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, with the remaining books and puzzles donated to the Colchester Community Workshop.
