Both a wind warning and a winter storm warning are in effect.

 

It was -6 C (-11 with the wind chill) at 6:30 a.m. and todays high will be around 2 C, with snow, at times heavy, mixed with ice pellets during the afternoon. Winds gusting to 100 km/h will cause blowing snow and drifting, with visibility near zero at times. 15-30 cm of snow are expected

The temperature will be around -1 C overnight, with rain and/or snow.

Tomorrows high is -1 C, with flurries, and a low of -12 C overnight.

 

Cancellations

Schools are closed today and many other events are cancelled.

Missing Pet

Zeppelin is missing from his home in Brookfield.

His home is on Carter Road, near the school.

Zeppelin is a medium length haired grey cat. If you see him help him get safely back to his family by calling Patrick at 902-673-2170 or 902-956-2184.

 

Yesterday’s missing German shepherd puppy, Zeus, is safely back home.
