There could have been a lot of grumbling this morning, as people cleared ice and snow from cars, walkways and driveways.

It was -11C, but feeling like -19C with the wind chill, at 6:30 a.m. The temperature is expected to reach -7C during the day, with a 60% chance of flurries, dropping to -10C overnight.

Thursday is expected to be much warmer, with a high of 2C, and periods of rain or snow, both during the day and night.

The forecast for Groundhog Day (Friday) includes a high of 4C and periods of rain, dropping back to cold temperatures during the night.

Plenty of Pets

Malakai is a six-month-old Siberian husky who is very active and requires a lot of regular exercise.

He is house trained, crate trained and, walks well on leash. If he gets enough exercise he is well behaved inside the home, but if not exercised he gets bored and might chew things. He loves playing with other dogs of all sizes.

Malakai weighs 47.5 pounds and is neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and micro chipped. He comes with 30-days of free pet insurance courtesy of 24PetWatch. His adoption fee is $350.00.
