Plenty of Pets

Lola is a five-year-old Chihuahua mix who was left at a high-kill shelter in Texas after being used as a breeding dog.

She arrived in Nova Scotia very thin and with infected teeth, which have been removed. It is believed she spent most of her life inside a pen, as she was uncomfortable walking on grass at first.

Lola is usually fearful of strangers at first and can be protective of her person. She needs a person who is patient and experienced with dogs, and will be home with her most of the time. She is housetrained and gets along fine with cats. She loves to go for walks, cuddle up on a lap and snuggle under a blanket with someone.

Lola weighs 11 pounds and is spayed. microchipped and vaccinated. Her adoption fee of $400 will help save other dogs in need.

For more information on her visit the Save A Life Canada Animal Rescue site at www.salcars.ca
