A section of Pictou Road was closed to traffic for a short period of time Sunday afternoon, as RCMP officers made an arrest.
The section of road near the Dal AC campus and Subway Bottle Exchange was barricaded around 3 p.m.
Corporal Jennifer Clarke, media relations officer with the RCMP, said a man was arrested without incident, but carbines were in hand as a result of a risk assessment.
She said the man who was arrested came out of a home in the area.
