A suspect has been arrested following an armed robbery, in Valley.
On Friday, Colchester District RCMP shared details of the March 21 incident in the Valley area which involved a firearm, and distributed photos of a red sedan that was involved.
The same day, after the information was shared across social media, police were able to locate the suspect vehicle and arrest a 20-year-old Bass River man in connection with the robbery. He now faces charges of robbery with a firearm.
The robbery left one victim with minor injuries after being struck with the firearm, but the weapon was never fired.
Early in the investigation, the passenger of the vehicle was identified. This suspect, who is still being sought by police, knew the victim.
The investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact Colchester District RCMP.
