Man taken to Halifax hospital with life-threatening injuries after jumping from moving car: police

HALIFAX - A New Brunswick man was air-lifted to hospital in Halifax after police say he sustained life-threatening injuries when he reportedly jumped from a moving car in a Cape Breton campground.

Around 11 a.m. Tuesday, Cape Breton Regional Police were called to the Ben Eoin Beach Campground on the Bras d’Or Lake where the 25-year-old man was found.

He was taken to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital by paramedics and later transported to Halifax for further treatment.

According to a release, police are now investigating with assistance from the forensic identification unit.
