Probation/fine for Brookfield man convicted of DUI

TRURO - A Brookfield man who pled guilty to failing the breathalyzer was fined $1,300 this week in provincial court.

Bernard Dale McCallum, 55, of 139 John Bell Road, also had his driving privileges revoked for two years and was placed on probation for 12 months.

During his probation period McCallum is not permitted to consume or possess alcohol, must not enter establishments where it is sold and must be assessed for potential counselling for his alcohol consumption.
