TRURO - An Earltown-area man facing child pornography charges following a wide-ranging police investigation is scheduled to go to trial next February.
Robert John Alan MacKinnon, 24, of 180 East Earltown Rd., Balmoral Mills, was charged last summer along with 21 other men from across the country, including 14 from Atlantic Canada.
MacKinnon, who was not present in provincial court on Tuesday, entered a not guilty plea through his defence counsel Bob Hagel.
A full day has been reserved for the trial with a pre-trail conference set for June 16.
Following a two-month investigation last summer, police removed two children from harmful situations, including one from an undisclosed location in Nova Scotia.
Officers also seized 43 computers and 72 external hard drives that contained millions of "very graphic" images, police said, when the arrests were announced.
