BIBLE HILL, NS
A recent election saw Kevin Kennedy return to the Bible Hill Village Commission for a second term.
Kennedy had 207 votes in the June 9 election, with Karen Mills receiving 26 votes.
Kennedy grew up in the village and works as manager at Kennedy’s Variety and Deli, on Ryland Avenue.
He will be sworn in during a village commission meeting Tuesday evening.
There was a low turnout for the election, with only six per cent of voters casting a ballot.
