Dartmouth man charged after people pepper sprayed and police spat on

DARTMOUTH, NS

Shortly after 12:45 a.m. on Dec. 8, Halifax Regional Police responded to a call about a man, who had a handgun, pepper spraying four people. The caller said the man was known to the people he sprayed.

After police found the man at a nearby apartment he spit on four officers. During the search of the apartment police found a pellet gun, pepper spray, marijuana and money. The accused will face numerous weapons charges, as well as drug charges and assaulting police.
