Sophia is a three-year-old Labrador Retriever mix who would do well in an active home.
She loves walks, water, and playing fetch and tug-of-war, as well as lounging in the sun on warm days.
She prefers the company of people to other animals, so she needs a home where there are no other dogs, or cats. Any children in the home should be over the age of 12.
Sophia gets excited easily and needs a person who will attend obedience classes with her.
She weighs 70 pounds, and is spayed and vaccinated.
To meet Sophia, drop by Homeward Bound City Pound at 201 Brownlow Ave. #9, in the Burnside Industrial Park. The shelter is open 2-6pm Monday through Friday and noon-3pm Saturdays and Sundays.
