Cocaine trafficker sent to prison

TRURO, N.S. – A Truro man who pled guilty to possessing cocaine for the purpose of trafficking was sentenced Wednesday to two years in a federal penitentiary.

Andrew Shawn Day, 31, of Arthur Street, is banned from possessing firearms for 10 years. He was also ordered to provide a DNA sample.
