After 20 years, answers still sought in the disappearance of Halifax man

HALIFAX, NS

Twenty years ago Daniel Baker left a home on Halifaxs Preston Street, headed for a Quinpool Road restaurant, and was never seen again.

It was around 11 p.m. on Dec. 12, 1997 when Baker, who was 40 at the time, left the residence. It is not known whether he made it to his destination. He was described as 61, weighing about 155 pounds, with dark blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. He had been wearing a dark blue, red and white dress shirt, blue jeans, a black suede jacket, white Reeboks and black leather gloves.

Anyone with information about this disappearance is asked to contact police at 902-490-5016.
