You can now borrow a pass to try out the facilities at the Rath-Eastlink Community Centre.
The Colchester-East Hants Public Library is offering two-week loans on RECC passes.
“It’s an excellent way to try out the RECC,’ said Bill Morgan, administrator or automated and technical services at the library. “We just got the passes a few days ago and they’re popular. We have five and there are now 22 requests, so we’re hoping to get more.”
Holds for the ‘Rath-Eastlink Community Centre Reward Membership’ can be placed in person, over the phone or online, and they can be borrowed through any branch.
It’s recommended that people activate the pass as soon as they get it, as once the two-week loan period is over a small daily fine is charged.
Once borrowed, the pass can be activated by visiting the help desk at the RECC, and can then be used for two weeks.
Each household is able to borrow a pass once during a six-month period. The pass is good for an
individual or family (two adults and underage dependents) and provides the same access as a regular membership.
