Free skating sessions being offered in Truro

TRURO, N.S. – A free and fun recreational supervised skate will be held on Fridays at the Colchester Legion Stadium in Truro, beginning Oct. 13.

Skating sessions begin at 6:30 p.m. and are sponsored by Truro Parks, Recreation and Culture.

There is a pre-registration on Wednesday, Oct. 11 and Thursday, Oct. 12 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the stadium.

Helmets must be worn at each session and there are some rules that apply to skater safety. Each skater must sign in for the evening.

The whole family can attend or just the kids. There is an area for beginner skaters, for all ages.
