BIBLE HILL, N.S. – The focus will be on food during an event being held on the Dal AC campus, and the community is invited to take part.
On Nov. 30, at 7 p.m., Food Evolution will be shown at the theatre in Cumming Hall
The film explores the controversy around GMOs, pesticides and how to feed the world while protecting the planet.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion. Panelists include Dr. Nancy McLean, Department of Plant, Food and Environmental sciences; Matthew Schnurr, Department of International Development Studies, and André Leu, President, IFOAM - Organics International and author of The Myths of Safe Pesticides. Each panel member will provide their point of view and receive questions from the audience.
Associate Dean of Research Dr. Chris Cutler will serve as moderator.
