COMMUNITY CALENDAR: Events to plan your coming week by

Shriners from the Central Shrine Club in Truro  recently gathered at a local restaurant in Bible Hill for dinner to celebrate another successful Fezeroo ticket sales campaign. Shriners taking part in this year’s fezeroo campaign are, front row, from left, Walter Spears and David Morris. Second row, Harry Martin, Eugene Adshade, Aron Verge, Barry Verge, and Nick Guthro. Third row, Ed MacDonald and John Andrews. Fourth row, Aronald Russell, Page Baird, Graham Campell, Jim Peterson, Ed Hingley, Peter Holman, Joe Tozer and Fred Carpenter. Absent were Ben Boyd, Les Graham and Charlie MacKinlay. Shriner's raise funds to cover the costs for medical treatment to children in need, including operations at their hospital in Montreal. The Central Shrine Club presently has 14 children in the Colchester area on their list. The club looks after transportation to the IWK in Halifax and other services as needed.
