Deborah* spent many years living in hell.
Married to an abusive man for almost 30 years, she considers it a miracle to still be alive.
"He'd push me to the floor and threatened to kill me," said Deborah, 59, of Colchester County. "He also threatened if I left I'd never see the kids again. He smashed things and he never said I'm sorry for anything he did."
