Cyclones overpower Selects in peewee girls hockey

TRURO – The Colchester Cyclones took both ends of their weekend peewee girls hockey home-and-home series with the Pictou County Subway Selects.
The Cyclones doubled the Selects 4-2 in Game 2 after blanking their opponent 3-0 in the opener. Chantelle Lindsay, Amy Murdock, Allison Whooten and Cassidy Reid found the net for the Cyclones in Game 2. Langille, Reid and Emily Maynard picked up assists.
Whooten, Langille and Casie Skidmore did the scoring in the opener. Reid, Lindsay, Mackenzie McNea and Sophie Bastarache chipped in with helpers.
