Since its incorporation in 1953, the Village of Bible Hill has had only three people serve as clerk and treasurer, and all three were in the same room during the recent village byelection, on August 18.

Mitchell Bell, left, the current clerk and treasurer, and Bob Christianson, right, who stepped down from the position in July, were serving as returning officer and deputy returning officer in the byelection when Doug Boyce stopped in to vote.

Boyce is a charter member of both the Village of Bible Hill and the Bible Hill Volunteer Fire Brigade, and served as clerk and treasurer from 1953 to 1987.
