It's a bronze medal for Brianna Harris in 400m snowshoe

SCHLADMING, AUSTRIA - Brianna Harris captured a bronze medal – and very nearly a silver – at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria Friday, taking third in the 400m snowshoe event.

In a competitive field of seven, Brianna finished with a time of 1:50.90, just .39 of a second behind silver medalist, Jamiah Shepard of the U.S., whose time was 150.51. Tatiana Baranova of Russia claimed the gold with her time of 1:46.47.
Earlier in competition, Brianna, of Valley was a member of Canada’s 4x400m snowshoeing relay team that captured gold. She also registered a fourth in the 200m showshoeing event.
The Special Olympics event wraps up on March 25 after 11 days of competition.
