The volunteers with Wayward Cats are busy trying to raise money to help cats and kittens, with a few fun events coming up.

Along with spaying/neutering feral cats, the organization has recently caught young kittens who required veterinary care before adoption.

On Sunday, Nov. 12 the society will hold a flea market/bake sale from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Lower Onslow Community Centre (12391 Hwy 2).

If you have books to donate for a used book sale you can drop them off at Unlimited Storage between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. The book fair will take place at the Truro Fire Hall Nov. 17 from 5-9 p.m. and Nov. 18 from 9-2 p.m. Admission is $1 and books will be sold be weight.

A Christmas booth is also being set up in the Truro Mall. If you have Christmas items to donate, or would like to bake something, contact Wayward Cats at waywardcatssociety@gmail.com or 902-957-8677.
