Now that spring is in the air, the Londonderry Station Community Church is eager and happy to once again offer Sunday service starting April 6 at 2 p.m., and will continue to take place on the first and third Sunday of April, May and June with leadership provided by Rev. Brian Delong. The church is pleased to offer a special Easter Sunday service on April 20 at 2 p.m. This service will be officiated by Rev. Brian Delong, and communion will be offered. All welcome.
A new Londonderry Youth Council has started up and is welcoming all youth between the ages of 10 and 18 who take pride in their community and wish to contribute their ideas to come to the next youth meeting on April 6 at 6 p.m. The Youth Council has already planned and held a successful movie night and is planning a penny sale fundraiser. If you would like to donate items, call 890-4242 to make arrangements. The Youth Council is looking forward to planning fun events for other youth in the area. Stay tuned for details.
A five-week music program for pre-schoolers is set to commence later in the month and will be offered by Evelyn Patriquin and Sylvie Taylor. The cost is $15 for five weeks and the 30 to 45 minute sessions will focus on rhythm, singing, dancing and instruments. This is an amazing opportunity for preschoolers and they will have so much fun. Fit Family Fun continues at the Londonderry Hall every Saturday at 10:30 a.m. Upcoming activities include yoga, circuit and gymnastics. This program is free and is open to all families. Call 890-4242 for more information.
The general meeting for the Thirsty Church Project takes place Thursday, April 3 at 7 p.m. All welcome.
The Londonderry Community Council meets the first Sunday of every month from September to May with the next meeting being April 6 at 7 p.m. All welcome.
