DEBERT, N.S. – A long-standing Debert manufacturer has renamed itself in a move to provide consistent branding across the country.
Peter Kohler Windows & Entrance Systems, as it has been known across Atlantic Canada, has transitioned itself to Kohltech Windows & Entrance Systems.
The company, which also has manufacturing facilities in Edmonton, has been known as Kohltech across the rest of Canada and the U.S.A.
“The Kohltech name is a hybrid of Kohler and Technology and was designed to keep a component of the brand name and capture the passion for continuous improvement and technology,” said company president Kevin Pelley.
The company was recently recognized for its business performance and growth with the prestigious Canada’s Best Managed Companies designation. Best managed program award winners are among the best-in-class of Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues over $15 million demonstrating strategy, capability and commitment to achieve sustainable growth.
The company said in a news release that the growth and success of Kohltech “continues to be driven by a culture of service and product engineering” it was founded on. Customer loyalty and word of mouth have propelled the company from being a regional brand to becoming a top national brand with over 400 employees in the last few years, the news release said.
