Madore, who has been working for the town, in a temporary position, as the special events and culture coordinator, started the job with the DTP on June 12. She had been providing social media management for the organization during the past two years.
“I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the downtown business owners in one way or another over the years and I’m looking forward to working with them in this new capacity,” she said. “I feel like all of the experience that I’ve gained since moving back home to Truro in 2009 has allowed me to fully see all that Truro has to offer and has led me to this role.”
The position of executive director position had been vacant since April.
