James Clarke made his way back to his Newfoundland hometown of Grand Falls-Windsor to open his own specialty soap and bath products shop.
Nestled in the heart of downtown Grand Falls-Windsor, BubblePixie offers an abundance of locally made soaps and bath products with an array of different scents.
Clarke, a former buyer for a home décor store, makes and packages the soaps himself in the back of his High Street shop.
He said while working as a buyer his favorite products to seek out were bath and body products.
“I always thought about how cool it would be to have my own line and be able to design everything myself, the packaging, pick your ingredients, pick your fragrances.”
He spent four years researching products and the industry before embarking on creating his own line.
BubblePixi started as a booth at craft shows but as of Sept. 23 grew into it’s own static shop in Grand Falls-Windsor.
