Legion Legends track team brings home gold

TRURO - The Central Nova Legion Legends track team brought home four gold medals from the weekend's Atlantic Indoor Track and Field Championships in Gagetown, N.B.
Cassidy Langley nabbed a pair of golds with her first-place finishes in the 800m and 1,500m in the 13 and 14 girls division.
Her sister Tristan also claimed gold in the 15 and 16 girls division's 1,500m while getting silver in the 800m event.
Nick Wood crossed the line first in the 16 and 17 boys 800m and was second in the 1,500m.
Tristan Langley and Wood were also presented with awards from St. Thomas University for the 1,500m run.
Also in the 15 and 16 girls division, Shakara Paris was second in the 60m and fifth in the 200m while Kelsey Boudreau was fourth in the 1,500m and sixth in the 800m.
