A pair of Truro Tennis Club members squared off in the opening contest of the Emera Northumberland Regional junior championship Friday night at the Truro Tennis Club. Ben Chisholm defeated Quinn Fullerton 8-5. Other scores from the early games were Everett Grunsky defeating Sander Manley 6-0, 6-4; Stephen Mallov beat Travis Fong 6-2, 1-6, 6-4; and Daniel Mallov got past Fullerton 8-6. Action continues today at the Palmer Street club at 9 a.m. Jason Malloy - Truro Daily News
