Bearcats beat rival Crushers in junior A tilt

NEW GLASGOW - The Truro Bearcats doubled the Pictou County Weeks Crushers 6-3 Thursday in New Glasgow.
The win improves the Bearcats to 12-2-1-1 for top spot in the MJAHL's Maurice Bent Division while the third-place Crushers fall to
Dana Fraser and Jamie MacIntyre each netted a pair of goals for the Bearcats with single tallies coming from Travis Moore and Eric Louis-Seize.
Kirk Rafuse made 32 saves for the victory.
Tyler Noseworthy, Ryan Fortune and Geoff Hum replied for the Crushers and Randy Chisholm was tagged with the loss with 24 stops.
The Bearcats are back in action Saturday when they host the Halifax Lions at 7:30 p.m.
