TRURO - Eric Louis-Seize and Travis Moore each scored a pair of goals to lead the Truro Bearcats to a 5-2 victory Saturday against the Bridgewater Lumberjacks.
Dana Fraser scored an empty-net goal to round out the scoring as Truro kept its perfect record intact through the first eight games of the season in front of 860 fans at Colchester Legion Stadium.
Louis-Seize and Moore are second in Bearcats scoring this season with five goals.
"We need production from them and both of them scored timely goals at different stages of the game," said Bearcats coach Shawn Evans.
Jordan Mock had three assists while Fraser added a pair. Singles went to Andrew Harmes, Colin Beck and Stephen Walker. Kirk Rafuse kicked out 23 shots for the victory.
"I thought Bridgewater played hard, played well," Evans said.
Truro travels to Halifax on Thursday to play the Lions. They host Dieppe and Campbellton on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
