Wolves earn second-place tournament finish

BROOKFIELD - The South Colchester Academy Wolves finished second at the recent Northumberland Invitational high school girls soccer tournament.
The Wolves lost 1-0 to the host team in
the final.
South Colchester opened the tournament with a 4-0 win over Middleton. Natasha MacKay, Paula Serracin, Kristen Rickens and Emily Duykers scored goals for the Wolves and Ally Campbell earned the shutout.
In Game 2, MacKay notched three goals in a 4-3 victory over New Waterford's Breton Education Centre. Serracin had the other goal.
In their other game, the Wolves edged Kings Edgehill 1-0 in a shootout. Jennifer
Breton got the shutout.
