Harpman leads Rams to rugby win over Tommies

BIBLE HILL - The NSAC Rams improved to 1-1 as they ran over the St. Thomas Tommies 47-5 recently in Atlantic Colleges Athletic Association women's rugby.
Beaver Brook's Kelsey Harpman led the charge with 17 points (two trys, two conversions and a penalty goal). Victory Gilby scored three trys for 15 points, Patti Gilroy scored twice and Holly Morton added a single try.
Truro's Ashley Giddens scored a try for the Tommies.
The Rams led 20-5 at halftime and are back in action Oct. 2 when they travel to Mount Allison to take on the Mounties at 7 p.m. Their next home tilt is Oct. 18 against Holland College.
