Pro Cresting CC Riders finish fourth at soccer provincials

TRURO - The Pro Cresting CC Riders under-14 Tier 2 girls soccer team finished fourth at the recent provincial championship in Kentville.
The Riders fell to Bedford in the bronze medal game.
The Riders opened the event with a 2-0 win over Valley United.
Taylor Lynds and Shea Lynn Callaghan did the scoring.
Lynds, April MacKay and MacKenzie Rathgeber netted goals in a 3-1 win over Glace Bay in the final.
The Riders then fell 4-1 to Cole Harbour in Game 3.
Ashley Morrell had a strong tournament in the Riders net.
The Riders finish the season at 28-9-2 with a gold and two silver medals in tournament play.
