Bearcats cap preseason with win over rival Crushers

TRURO - The Truro Bearcats finished their preseason schedule with a 4-1 victory Saturday over the Pictou County Weeks Crushers.
The win gives the Bearcats a 1-1 preseason record before opening the regular season Saturday at home against the Crushers.
Sam Caldwell led the Bearcats with a pair of goals while Evan Watts and Chris Ivanko rounded out the scoring.
Dan Joyce netted the lone Pictou County marker.
