Recital for Colchester Food Bank July 16

TRURO - A recital in support of the Colchester Food Bank will take place in Truro this month.
The recital is July 16 at St. James Presbyterian Church at 7 p.m. and will include compositions by Handel, Mozart, Schubert and Rossini.
Linda Jeffrey, Douglas Brenton and Meghan Jamieson will provide the entertainment. Jeffrey is a singer, teacher and past conductor of the South Shore Chorale. Jamieson and Brenton are award-winning young singers who are studying music.
Brenton was also the 2009 winner of the Nova Scotia Provincial Music Festival Junior Voice competition in June. In addition Brenton was voted most promising junior musician at the event.
There is no admission charge, but a free-will offering will be collected for the Colchester Food Bank.
