Hockey game to raise funds for new hospital

TRURO - Local healers face off against law enforcement officers at the Colchester Legion Stadium on Sunday.
From 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. police officers from Colchester County RCMP detachments and Truro Police Service will go head-to head in an exhibition game against medical staff from Colchester Regional Hospital. Admission will be $2 per person at the door and fans are welcome to give additional donations, with all proceeds going toward the construction of the new hospital.
Wrestling tonight
in Debert
DEBERT - Riddick Stone will have his hands full trying to defend his New Breed Wrestling heavyweight title Saturday at NBW Annihilation.
The show gets underway at 7:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Debert. Doors open at 7 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $6 for kids under 12. Stone is defending his belt in a main event triple-threat match against Chris Cooke and The Answer Eric Edwards.
Fans will also get the chance to see if XXL and Adrian Starr can co-exist as tag team partners and J.P. Simms will face off against Airborne Andy Osbourne.
