BIBLE HILL - Grayland Bling, last year's Maritime Breeders two-year-old champion, will be out to improve his position in the Atlantic Sires Stakes three-year-old trot division standings tonight when Atlantic Grand Circuit Week racing continues at Truro Raceway.
The Bible Hill oval will host two $5,760 divisions of the three-year-old trot along with two $5,520 divisions of the two-year-old trotters on the 12-dash card. Post time is 7 p.m.
There will also be two $9,600 divisions of two-year-old pacing fillies and two B divisions of the stake, each carrying a purse of $2,500.
Grayland Bling, bred by Ralph McCully of Antigonish, has already registered two stakes wins this year, capturing his division of the Maple Leaf Trot at Summerside and winning his Atlantic Sires Stakes division at Northside Downs last Tuesday for driver/trainer Danny Romo.
He sits tied for third in the division with eight points, just behind Comere (10) and Wiskeyandseven (9), two horses who will meet in the other sophomore trot division.
Tonight's program will also feature two heats of the Neil 'Chops' Campbell Memorial Young Guns Drivers Challenge with eight of the top young drivers in the Maritimes taking part.
