DRYDEN, Ont. - A couple of angry transport drivers from Manitoba and New Brunswick made a stop in this northwestern Ontario community for a fist fight, police said Monday.
Officers responding to a 911 call at about 8 p.m. Sunday found traffic backed up while the two went at it on Highway 17, police said.
One transport was stopped in the middle of the eastbound lane and the other was stopped just ahead on the shoulder.
Police are calling the incident a case of road rage that escalated into a pushing match.
The drivers, from Winnipeg and Woodstock, N.B., have been charged with causing a disturbance by fighting.
They are to appear in Dryden court on May 4.
