Huskies fall short of making final at leadership tourney

TRURO - The Bible Hill Huskies boys basketball team failed to make the final of the recent CEC Leadership tournament despite recovering from an opening loss with a pair of wins.
The Huskies finished the event with a 56-38 victory over Hebbville Academy. Eshaan Haque led Bible Hill with 14 points while Austin Deuville drained 12. Keagan Tooker added nine blocks and four rebounds.
Deuville, Haque and Sean McKim each pumped in eight points as the Huskies turned aside the South Colchester Wolves 74-31 in their second game of the tournament. Riley Dunlap picked up six rebounds.
The Huskies opened the event with an 82-32 loss to the eventual champion Graham Creighton squad. Deuville drained eight points, Kolby Hoare had six points and three blocks and Dunlap grabbed six rebounds.
