Haley nominated for coach of the year award

HALIFAX – Lisa (Jordan) Haley has been named as a finalist for Sport Nova Scotia’s coach of the year award.

Also named as finalists for the award, which is part of the 18th annual Ricoh Sport Awards, were Ueli Albert (Wolfville) for athletics and David Kikuchi (HRM) for gymnastics.

Annually the Ricoh Sport Awards recognize the achievements of Nova Scotia’s greatest athletes, teams, coaches, officials, and volunteers in amateur sport based on their best achievement of the past season, in addition to their overall performance throughout the year.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on May 31 at the World Trade & Convention Centre in Halifax.
