BIBLE HILL - The Dalhousie Rams won't get the chance to play their final game of the ACAA women's volleyball regular season.
The conference announced Monday with the ACAA championship tournament slated for this weekend at Mount Allison, it will not reschedule Sunday's cancelled date between the Rams (10-7) and Sainte Anne Dragons (5-12).
The match was called off due to Sunday's poor travelling conditions across the province.
Playing the match would have no effect on the standings for either team. The Rams, who currently hold the fourth and final playoff berth, could pull into a tie for third place with the Mount Allison Mounties (11-7) and the Saint John Seawolves (11-7) if they were to beat Sainte Anne. However, both No. 2 Mount Allison and No. 3 Saint John hold the tie-breaker against Dalhousie with more head-to-head victories, holding the Rams in fourth.
The Dragons are out of the playoff picture.
