Burgess falls again at N.S. Tankard championship

TRURO - Truro's Peter Burgess dropped his sixth straight game at the Nova Scotia men's curling championship on Friday, falling 11-7 to Lakeshore's Jamie Murphy.

Burgess played his final game of the eight-team Tankard event in Friday evening's draw against Mayflower's John Luckhurst (visit trurodaily.com for result).

Burgess, mate Craig Burgess, second Jared Bent and lead Todd Burgess lost 8-7 to Mayflower's Mark Kehoe late Thursday night.

Murphy and Mayflower's Mark Dacey lead the standings with 5-1 records.
