TRURO - Truro's Peter Millman set new provincial track and field records during an indoor meet in Moncton last Saturday.
Millman, home on holiday break from the University of Lethbridge, Alta., set new marks in the junior men's 25 kg weight throw (22.80m) and junior men's shot put (17.40m).
Millman is a member of Team Canada's junior track and field team and is a former member of the Truro Lions.
Truro Lions throwers also enjoyed success at the Moncton meet with eight personal-best performances. Following are their results:
